It honestly depends on whose in the room but most of time. I do like going to the library or somewhere else quiet. Specifically I like the library because if I get stuck I can browse among the selves for inspiration.

I love to be alone , along with the lights dimmed and a small glass of wine. Along with my pen, pad and my thoughts!

I prefer to be alone when I write. I need silence to concentrate on what I'm doing.

I very much like to be alone when I am writing, it feels like such a personal activity, I prefer to have as little distractions as possible. For some reason, I also really enjoy writing at night vs during the day.

Yes, because I am alone that I write. I don't think I can write when I am with someone.

Very much so! To me, writing is such an intimate hobby, I don't like to share it with anyone! My favorite time to write is at night, when I'm alone at home. The only one I like to be with me when I write is my dog, she provides some much needed comfort at all times :D

I'm with the majority in this; being alone to write is definitely my go to. I even have trouble answering a phone call when I'm in the middle of writing. It's like I enter the world of my book and have to climb back to this one in order to have an interaction.

I'm probably not answering the phone. Definitely not if the words are flowing.

I prefer to be alone when I write, generally early morning or evening.

I definitely prefer to be alone but it's not like I can't write if others are around. My toddler though that's another story. I make time to write each day in quiet space. It was actually today's writing prompt that I put on my blog

Yeah.
I love it when I am alone. The inspiration and enthusiasm to write keeps coming.
Then I can write as many word counts as I want.
A beautiful serenity, quiet and non distracting areas make me pour my ideas perfectly.

I love to be alone when I write. I love to be alone. The only exception is going to a coffee shop to write, but if the place is not busy, I feel like I own the place! LOL! When family is here, I find it hard to write, so I try doing with when everyone is at work or school, or if everyone has gone to bed. Writing is a solitary activity, and needs to be as such. However, I did do writer's group at a coffee shop a few times, but we talked more than worked on our stuff!
