Re: Coffee or Tea?

Post by Alice Heritage »

I try to write soon after waking up and I normally do this with a coffee at my elbow. There's always something special about the first one of the day! I normally drink instant coffee - I'm lucky enough to have some Douwe Egberts in stock now, because it tastes so good. I drink it preferably with whole milk. I do like black tea too - of all kinds. I also drink this quite a bit and prefer it with skimmed milk. At the moment I have a Ceylon and Assam blend on the go, which tastes great.

Most definitely tea,I don't like coffee so I rarely take it. Mmh milk tea if you ask me with just a notch of sugar and slow music, this is what puts me in the mood to write. I don't have a special mug or anything, can drink from any mug and feel relaxed

Can I toss in a vote for Red Bull or am I not allowed?

Tea! Because often coffee gives me the jitters. But a nice cup of tea or two is enough to keep me awake without the stress coffee induces.

I love tea, especially herbal tea. My favorite tea is lemon grass. I usually drink it with milk, and I like to eat bread while drinking it because I can wet my bread in the tea. Besides, I prefer to make my tea from the real leaves of the plant; I do not like to use tea bags. I like to drink it in my bed.

I don't really drink either often, but when I do its usually English Breakfast tea with some milk and far too much sugar. However, Diet Mountain Dew is my drug of choice.

Oh for thr love of coffee! Coffee coffee coffee. I like a simple blend, but if i can have a mocchachino, wih one sugar and some low fat dairy im good to go. I need something hot in the morning, amd late at night, and usually il drink whatever i can find, but whrn i find coffee, well lets just say im a little happier all round.
Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be...

I love both. They are my guilty pleasure, because when I drink coffee or tea, I always eat something sweet.

I prefer tea. I take coffee once in a while. Usually, I brew my tea with fresh ginger and then add milk and sugar. My tea is caffeinated and I usually drink it between 9am and 1:00pm. I can't really explain why I mostly drink tea around that time: it's kind of funny to realize I can't tell why I feel like drinking tea around that time everyday.

I don't smoke anymore either but I am convinced that it is the best way to sharpen your mind/creativity in the short term. Scientific reports say that it has either a negative effect (no surprise there!) or no effect at all but they're definitely missing something in my opinion. Perhaps the slightly lower oxygen levels increase your focus?
