A story about John's encounter with a ghost in his childhood life. this seems a good read for those who like ghost story, though I really want to read this but I really do not have strong stomach for ghost stories. Thank you for this review.

Thank you for the review. I'm surprised that it contains a bit of humour as well, I also love that it stretches across such a long time period. I'll definitely have to consider reading this.

I think this book is different from all the other books that only focuses on inflicting fear to the readers. This is different in the sense that it has several perspective, especially from a young child, which makes the book sound genuine. And people from all ages ca relate.

"This book deals with serious themes that some readers may find offensive; therefore I would not recommend it to somebody who is looking for a light read or anybody under the age of 18".
Quoting the statement as stated in the review, The Boy who Lived with Ghosts is/cannot be recommended for an under age due to the emotional intense emulsified in the write up. This shows that the author wrote on his childhood experienced which make the book not recommendable for an under age and somebody interested in light reading.

It is relative everyday life because millions of people experience supernatural phenomena.

Thanks for the review - sounds great! I wouldn't have been drawn to it as the cover and title doesn't attract me. But after reading the review I will add it to my bookshelves.

this book actually sound nice, especially when relating to the plight of children in sub-Saharan Africa. Where children are exposed to lots of fetish and diabolic activities in the name of culture. No doubt, they will be hunted whether real or unreal by their subconscious.

I appreciate that this review provides warnings of the triggering topics involved and tries to entice even those who are not as interested in paranormal stories by saying that the overall plot line is about the character's childhood, not his experiences with ghosts. The review definitely caught my attention and made me want to explore the book, and maybe the genre, further.
