Great review! I usually like stories involving the paranormal, but the heavier subject matter in this book doesn't interest me.

This sounds like a really difficult book to read, but I have a feeling I'd still love it. Thanks for your review.

From the title, I thought the book is based on Ghosts. But, from the review, it seems it extends beyond the issue of ghosts. Thanks for the review.

It is refreshing to have a story told from a child's perspective. If an adult didn't experience it themselves, they may never know how children really feel when they are being molested and may not know how to empathetically handle such situations. This book should give insight to parents especially when handling children going through such traumas as the protagonist here. Good job.

Its heart-breaking when a child has to go through so many sufferings. You mentioned that this book is written from a child's perspective and I enjoy reading such books. Thanks for the honest review. No adult can explain how a child feels during certain situations. I hope John will be able to move on from his past.

Reading the sample, the narrative certainly sounded like the thoughts of a young boy. Some things were amusing, the obvious abuse, mental illness and perversion was horrendous, to think of young children trying to grow in such an environment. Thanks for the good review.

Not a book for me as I don't enjoy disturbing things in books. It seems that John takes the reader on an emotional journey.

I find astonishing a horror story told from the perspective of a child between the ages of four and thirteen. It is interesting that although the story includes paranormal aspects and ghosts, the main focus is on John's childhood experiences. An appealing option for lovers of the horror genre and the paranormal.

This is an amazing supernatural thriller novel highlighting ghost, paranormal haunting, humor, and a story through the eyes of a young boy. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a masterfully-crafted OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

The boy who lived with ghosts is a paranormal thriller with a focus on a young boy's personal experiences between the ages of four and thirteen. While the review does sound great, I'm not sure it would be a great read for me.

I can't imagine how a boy can live with Ghost, how will it look like? what will be the relationship between the boy and the Ghost? This book must be interesting, I must read it. Great review.
