The point of view of the police officer/sweetheart is certainly a different kind of twist. It's too bad that the overall storyline/writing didn't make the story work.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

It most definitely is. It could be akin to Chelsea Cain's Sweetheart series... if it were better edited.

Yikes. I feel like there's no one I could "root for" in this book, for so many reasons. (Also, "slobbery"? Who wants to read about kissing described that way?) Thanks for the warning on this one, I'll pass, but I really enjoyed your thoughtful review.

Exactly on all accounts. There is lots of room for improvement. Thanks for coming by!

Oh, your comment made me laugh! I work with college students, usually in their first year, and I teach freshman composition. I'm used to seeing tons of errors, but it is certainly different when it is in a published work. Thanks for stopping by!
