Anna's devotion to her family is admirable and your review too. Thanks for a great review.

Sounds like a very good read. I am sad to hear that the author had passed away. I can't wait to read it, it sounds truly wonderful. I am sure the author would love to hear how much you and everyone else has enjoyed her words. Great review.

I love romance, but this does sound like it's been done before. I do like the added piece that the author passed away and that her son published the book in her stead. I would still enjoy reading this book it sounds like, but Anna does sound like a well played out character. Also, she is unhappy, and yet instead of confronting that unhappiness up front, she sneaks around behind people's backs trying to have her cake and eat it, too. I would like to read this almost just to prove myself wrong since you enjoyed it so much. Thank you for your insight!

The stalker element brings a weirdness to a love-triangle based romantic novel. I do hope the author has justified this awkwardness in the story.
The review on the other hand is a good one.

The stalker element was definitely weird. I never found any justification for it that brought me comfort. I found it awkward throughout the entire book.

Thanks, Erika. I think the uniqueness here is really in the quality of the writing. It is a rare talent to write a romance novel with such depth to the main character. Renee's words were very beautiful. I would not be at all surprised to find out she was also a poet.

I don't usually read romance but, the story sounds compelling for those who do.

A story about the hardship of marriage, especially one that Anna endured for a long tine: 15 years.

This is a wonderful book that talks about the real issues in marriage.

As this is one of the reasons there are so many divorces today.

I only wish I knew what's the secret that could break the lovely heart of Anna. Well that's my own part to find out.

I must say THANK YOU, Wilson, for your unique style of writing too. And I hope the author fixes the grammar errors to make the book earn a perfect rating.
Books are lovely.

I was thinking the same thing! SO SO many times in "love stories" you see unhealthy and toxic relationships romanticized and it's so frustrating!

I felt so many emotions while reading your review! First, I would like to point out how beautiful the cover of the book is. This story sounds like my typical area of interest, however, I am slightly disappointed to read about the underdeveloped relationship between Anna and Jacob. I do not think the negative review regarding this part of the book will keep me from reading it though. I am completely heartbroken to hear the author has since passed away. I find the actions of her son to be the most lovely thing to do for her legacy.

Thank you for your informative review. I would have loved to know what Anna's decision was. Returning to a loveless marriage or rekindling a past love? I am sure any woman with a successful marriage or otherwise will be able to relate with this book.
