Hi, Alice! I was actually waiting for the Zorro "Z" mark, but since he was hiding, the mark had to take a rest.

I like this comment. Well put! :)

I am a personal fan of Zorro, so I can only hope that the author was using this little book as a testing ground for better stories to follow. I fully understand your observations about the clichés, tho. Thank you for your comments.

You may be right! She might be planning a big project for Zorro's centenary next year.

It's unfortunate Zoro didn't deliver this time round. I hope the author has a more intriguing plot in the sequel. Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for dropping by! Zorro fans may still enjoy the story, seeing their hero in action again.

It sounds great. I am a fan of the Zorro movies starring Antonio Banderas and I am sure that I would love this book. I'm just disappointed that it is so short. Great review.

Did you know that they had to get a small Tornado for Antonio because he was on the short side? Otherwise, he was a natural as Zorro.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Long live Zorro!

Well being a fan of Zorro myself i can say, living up to the name is no easy task. I do hope most of the mistakes are rectified not only in the sequel but on this book as well. I might read it though just for nostalgic purposes.

Yes, I think everyone alive knows Zorro and his "Z" mark! He's been around for the last hundred years. I wonder if any of the big studios will produce a film for his centenary.

I think I'm going to enjoy this book, despite its flaws. For one thing, I'm not all that familiar with Zorro's antics (I've only seen few shows ages ago), so the plot will be somewhat fresh to me. And although I'm not a fan of clichès too, I don't think this one would be the death of me. My only issue would be the grammatical errors mentioned, but since its such a short read, perhaps I can work around them; if not for anything else, for my fellow Victoria in there, lol! Thanks for another lovely review, Miriam.

Yes, it's a quick read. I hope you are able to squeeze it in. Do tell how you like your "forgetful" namesake's story.

Wait... 41 pages? Really? Is it possible to put this many events into 41 pages? I love Zoro stories with all my heart, but I am skeptical about reading something rushed... And, honestly, the trope "she fell, hit her head and lost her memory" is too telenovela-ish to me...
And Thank you for the review. It was really informative.
