I always enjoy reading a good romance novel. I like to read dystopian books as well. However, I am not too keen about love triangles or cheating partners.

Thank you for the great review.

I enjoyed your review however the word crunk came about in the early 2000s through the hip hop genre and relatively well known through artists Lil John and the east side boys. Which i agree with the idea that these type of words and thier uses in this story may be out of place as this is a futuristic setting. Kind of excited to see what of story this unfolds to be. Thank you for the review and grats on the botd.

I can't imagine wanting to read this book. I'm not into romance novels or grammatical errors.

I think that the book not only seek to delve into futuristic happenings but also engage the reader with the twist and suspense that goes with love, romance and marriage. I can see that the story bodes well for the male readers. It'll be so interesting to see how one can stand up against the government for the sake of love.

Romantic love should never be curtailed. Arranged marriages are mainly a thing of the past, at least in the US, and should remain so. I really hope this particular fiction remains fiction, as should a single world leader. However, the quest for love before a mandatory arranged marriage is a great premise, so this might be an interesting read. Great detailed review.

I don't read dystopian stories a lot, but this story sounds intriguing. Good review.

Thank you for your very thorough review of this book. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of dystopian stories and so I cannot find too much to interest me in this book. I appreciate that some will love it, so thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

A dystopian romance sounds intriging. I'm curious to see what questions were raised, I do enjoy it when an author makes you think, and, hopefully, expands on areas left unanswered in the next book.

As someone who binge watches reality TV shows, this sounds like my cup of tea! Also, I'm fully into the fact that even in dystopian worlds, love still exists.... Along with revolutions and attemps to overthrow the government.

I like your review and how much you enjoyed this book. As an introvert myself, I would be reluctant to fight for my relationship on national television. The idea of one person controlling the entire world is a little far fetched considering how chaotic the world is. The idea of someone imposing strict rules on the behavior of a country's citizens is possible, but on a smaller scale.

The whole concept of dystopian romance is new to me and it definitely sounds interesting. I'm personally not a big fan of romantic or erotic books but this genre of conflating darkness in something as pure as romance has me hooked. I've started reading this book and its been a nice ride until now. Thanks for the review.

Not into dystopian world so I added to my not interested in reading shelf. This is unique to me because it's a man's perspective on romance.

Intriguing, to say the least. I wouldn't call plot the very original one, but it seems author put much thought in developing this future society past WW III. Hope it won't be all about romance, but history as well.
