Ah, when I see phrases repeated, I get annoyed because it really pulls me out of the story. It's a shame that it's happened in this book. It's too bad about the errors the author made about Michigan too. Despite this, I'm curious about the book and I think I'm going to give it a read :)

Hmm.. I'm not a romance fan, but the supernatural element intrigues me. I would like to know more about these Iridescents.

I love a book where a young girl falls for an older man. The fact that there're also fantasy creatures involved make it even better.

I am curious to find out what new elements the author has presented in this story to set it apart from the run-of-the-mill supernatural romance novels churned out these days. Thanks for the honest review!

Well, earning only 2 stars from me-I’d say there weren’t a “ton” of new ideas. The one I thought was new revolved around how the supernaturals marked their mates. There was a biological marker involved so to me that was interesting.

Thanks for reading!
