An inspiring story of courage and strength in the face of outright betrayal of trust by very close family members. Would love to read the whole book to know how it all ends.

This story of Aimee sounds very painful and heartbreaking. Her strength and courage will make me recommend this book to a friend that went through - almost- the same thing Aimee went through for encouragement. Love definitely conquers all. I'll pass on this book for now. Thanks for the honest review.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

I liked Aime's story. This story is so touching to the point that a reader can fill the kind of life Aime was living in. I liked how she persevered with all the situation she was passing through. I learnt to depend on God and build the faith through prayer. This book is so important and it worth reading. This is why I can recommend it to all people so as to learn form Aime's experience. In addition that, the book has a simple and easy English that helps a reader to easily understand the content and the message of the book.
I rate this book with 4 stars due to the fact that the story is really, it is well organized, with good terminology, clear organization, and good openings. I encourage Aime to keep on writing many books like this one.

Childhood abuse can destroy a person for their rest of their lives. Very sad. :cry:
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

This is wonderful story, I have watched a movie like this. I like Aimee courage to move on as so many innocent woman surrender their heart and hope, even lost their life because of this abuse. I can’t wait to read the book.

This story is touching. Being kept by your step father's easy and it comes with alot of temptations and excruciating moments.
It's good that Michelle become the pillar of hope to fight for justice. I give kudos to Aimee for enduring such horrible times.
This book is good and I would would give It 4/4 because it's expressing the oppressions step children go through.
