One gets the feeling that Bright is trying to fit ten gallons of water into a five gallon bucket.

That seems to be an extremely fitting description for this book. With the numerous editing errors added to the poor plot lines, I'll definitely be avoiding this one. Thanks for the heads up!

I hate that feeling of wanting to get to the end of a book so I can move on to the next. There are way too many great books out there to waste hours on a mediocre one. I had a feeling from the synopsis this was not going to be worthy of my TBR list. Nicely balanced review. Definitely passing on this book.

Plot holes and cliches are a significant reason to downgrade the rating of this book, so I can wholeheartedly agree with your rating of 2 out of 4 stars. I appreciate your constructive criticism. I'm usually not a fan of romance, so I'll only read the genre when it is particularly intriguing. I'll have to pass on this one.
