Jaime seems like an interesting character, who can do anything to help anyone. Romance books are always my cup of tea. Nice review!

Thanks for your review. Paranormal fiction is not for me, so I will have to give this one a miss, especially given the typos.

I hardly ever read paranormal fantasy/romance so not sure I'll be picking this up. However, I have to say the premise sounds interesting. Kind of a spin on Nightmare on Elm Street with the dreams, etc. I do agree with you. It sounds like the timeline with Jaime's age is not right, but as you said, perhaps that will be cleared up later. Anyway, thanks for your insight on the book.

The premise of the book is indeed dark, and the chemistry between Jaime and Collin complex. The storyline piqued my intrigue, however, I will have to pass this for now. Thanks for the insightful review!

I sampled the book on Amazon. This is a novel with an unusual theme. Jaime Connor, the protagonist is a dark angel who faces her demons in her dreams. The first few chapters lacked clarity as per my understanding. Though as mentioned in the official review by Inaramid, this book would attract readers of dark paranormal romance.

Thanks for the thorough, yet honest review. I tried reading the sample, but was put off by the violent scenes.

The story revolving around the dark themes is not of my interest. Here Jaime Connor continuously falls in from one tragedy to another. So it's not of my interest. Great review .

I am intrigued with the supernatural story with a dark theme in which the protagonist Jaime Connor's unpleasant dream and her real life are connected. This connection is evident when somebody getting killed in her dreams appears to be killed in her real life when she wakes up with similar injuries. To add the spice to the story it seems romantic scenes are also there in addition to torture scenes.

Since I am not a reader of dark paranormal romance and I resent explicit torture, aggression and violence in a book, I will have to give this novel a pass. Thanks for a detailed review, though.

Though I think it is disturbing to read about rape, torture, and murder I am going to give the story a chance. I like the romance and fantasy themes of the book. I also like the authors use of angels and demons with a unique story plot.

Purgatory's Angel by B Hughes-Millman

Wops the romance could be so dramatic! I have read the detailed review about this erotic book and found it quite interesting. The author as well as the reviewer have made a tremendous effort to take us into a world of wild imagination. I hope the book provides a similar plot. :roll2:

Am a little confused about how a paranormal writing as such, mentions the name Jesus Christ, and due to what has it been embedded in the book. Still with the confusion which actually should have forced me read it, the dark themes and romance makes me pass it. I truly don't like paranormal.
The review is good one though.

Now this is a different slant on a romantic novel. Takes a few pages to get into the story, but once I had sorted out the unusual facts, the rest is extremely intriguing. Looks like a book well worth reading as the sample was definitively appetising.
