Thanks for your honest review! I was so excited to try this one until I read the rest of your review. I'm really disappointed. I really think the book has a great plot. I'm sorry that it wasn't an enjoyable read for you!

Looks like a good book that lost the plot somewhere in the middle. Your patience seems to have paid off somehow at the end. The title and cover are spot on

I have actually read supernatural books like this before. I have a weird gravitation toward books like these. I will be looking for the book.

Thanks.

Thanks for suffering through the last 40% to write a thorough review. I think I would have been interested in this one until I read your review. I already get frustrated trying to keep track of made up species, geographical locations, super powers, etc...so when they are not well defined, I just can't enjoy a book. Hope your next read is much better.

Sorry to disappoint :( But I totally agree with you about needing thorough explanations for new things!
Also, I love your profile pic! You make a beautiful bride. :D

That's the great thing about books: even if someone doesn't like a book, another person surely will! The author's hard work doesn't ever have to go to waste. :D

i want to know why she had an amnesia. The books need more explanation and needs more emotion for the readers to understand more. Sad that it has been rated 1 out of 4.

It sounds like it's more work than necessary for the reader to read the story. It's a shame because the idea of learning to live again after amnesia and someone from their forgotten past returning is interesting. For all the issues involved, I'll pass on Lover's Curse. Thanks for your honesty.

I'm not sure if the book was purposefully written to make the readers understand things as Carra remembered them, but the lack of explanation and the assumption that we would be able to keep up was one of my biggest pet peeves with this book. I had a hard time believing that this was really the first book in the series.
I've seen this approach before, and it wasn't well executed either...I wasn't a fan. Thanks for the honest review.

I was intrigued until you mentioned the grammatical issues.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I initially got interested in giving the book a read but the overall review made me choose otherwise. Thank you for the details.

The book has a good start but am not sure about the rest of it. It is hectic reading a book that is not edited well. I think I'll pass this one. Thanks for the review.
