Sorry to disappoint But I totally agree with you about needing thorough explanations for new things!kfwilson6 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2018, 13:52 Thanks for suffering through the last 40% to write a thorough review. I think I would have been interested in this one until I read your review. I already get frustrated trying to keep track of made up species, geographical locations, super powers, etc...so when they are not well defined, I just can't enjoy a book. Hope your next read is much better.
Also, I love your profile pic! You make a beautiful bride.

That's the great thing about books: even if someone doesn't like a book, another person surely will! The author's hard work doesn't ever have to go to waste.KFree_Reads wrote: ↑03 Mar 2018, 23:43 Thanks for your honest review! I was so excited to try this one until I read the rest of your review. I'm really disappointed. I really think the book has a great plot. I'm sorry that it wasn't an enjoyable read for you!

I've seen this approach before, and it wasn't well executed either...I wasn't a fan. Thanks for the honest review.I'm not sure if the book was purposefully written to make the readers understand things as Carra remembered them, but the lack of explanation and the assumption that we would be able to keep up was one of my biggest pet peeves with this book. I had a hard time believing that this was really the first book in the series.
