I agree with inaramid. Why is there no information about what the mating curse is? Is it a spoiler?

Though I like fantasy, I'm not really a romance girl, so I have to confess I probably won't read this one. However, I thought the writing was decently good, and the character development a little stronger than the other romances (paranormal or otherwise) I've sampled. I agree with you that Tess & Cole seem like a special couple, and their love is more than just physical.

Ah, why I typically avoid romance novels - the inevitable sexual content. I'm glad that you enjoyed watching the main characters' love story play out but it looks like I'll have to pass on this read. Thanks for the review :)

Dianna Love's name is familiar to me as I have seen it on the cover of other books co-written with Sherrilyn Kenyon. As a huge fan of hers, including her shape shifters, I was really interested in this book. The sample really didn't capture my interest though. I feel like I could take it or leave it at this point.

After reading the first couple of chapters of this book on Amazon I was thrilled to read your review. Thanks for giving me an idea of where the book is heading. I will definitely read this book. I was happy to see, from your review, that Tess and Cole did come together. I am looking forward to reading this paranormal romance.

With the strong characters and unique twist on shifter lore, I think this book will appeal to diehard pararomance fans. :) Thanks for the thoughtful review!

This is not one of my preferred genres to read, but the bit that I did read was well written.

Good review. But I think this is inspired from the Twilight Saga. I'm not fond of twilight. So I think I'll have to pass with this one. Kudos to the author.

The paranormal is very exciting! However, romance it’s a bit old, but tying it to mating it’s an intriguing subject. Revolving the story around that and supporting it with romance. Also, I like how the main character evolves. First, thinking he belongs with the humans and later learning that he actually doesn’t belong to them. A lot of people can relate to that. This one is most definitely going on my bookshelf.

I love fantasy/paranormal stories, and I can get into romance stories when they're well-written. The strong female characters are especially encouraging. Thank you for the helpful review.
