The hero (Cyrus) and the heroine (Layla) seem to be the kind people that you don't want to mess with. I am happy that the female lead character is depicted as a strong willed character determined to do whatever it takes to ensure that her family is safe in the face of imminent danger.

The book sounds interesting, although a bit tense for me. I'm not one for the damsel in distress scenario but I love that there are strong females regardless, as well as the author addressing serious issues and the fact that not every Iranian is an extremist terrorist.
