Post WW III, government arranged marriages, total censorship? What's not to like? Maybe it will still make sense if I skip over the steamy parts.

Dictatorship even when it comes to matters of the heart sure makes for a great story. I like that there is a second book after this one.

Can't imagine a government who decides who you marry unless you participate in the Temptation Trails (a TV reality show)? It looks like this censorship is taken to the extreme. The overall story, though, does sound unique and intense. It's great that the author balances the fiction with the romance and the pace is well done. Too bad that you had some trouble with the language. I don't think this is for me because it looks like there are some steamy scenes here, but I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the book!

Romance is not really my type. The dystopian premise had my attention. But I am not too interested in it.

This is one of the books I am reading at the moment. I like its political theme and Hunger Games’ undercurrent. I agree that the romance aspect was a bit rushed. So far, I think it is an entertaining read. Thanks for the review.

I'm sorry the American language threw you off. Due to the explicit content, i don't think this book is for me. However, the dystopian content is interesting. I love seeing what authors think about the future.

I have to admit, I'm not that thrilled with the premise. It seems to be aimed at young adult. But I'm a simple bibliophile. I see free book, I read free book.

I'm gonna be honest and say i didn't care for the review that much. You managed to summarize the story and I kinda wish you added a spoiler alert there. As much as I love the dystopian setting, this just screams young adult to me. Still, it sounds better than some of the things I've read but it may not be for me.

The dictatorship of the regime system had affected a lot the social life of America people. The regime was arranging marriages by choosing partners on their own instead of the country practising democracy by letting people choose who they want. The regime had even dictate what people should watch and hear on social media, all music were banned except the band artist’s songs. There is a series of Temptation trial which is one of the legal TV show held in Hawaii. The Temptation trial is the only way out to successfully marry the one you love.
I don't think, I could survive in this situation. I'm sure I'll sneak out the way Cali and Stefani did.

Thanks for the review.

A lovely review about a book on dystopian romance filled with sexual content. The review highlights the story and its characters, and leaves the reader guessing for the climax of the tale. In line with the review, you can judge whether to have this book on your reading desk.

Quite the interesting story line! Your review was really helpful and explained the plot very well...thank you! :-) Unfortunately, I do not think this book is for me, as I generally am not drawn toward the romance genre. I have downloaded it, though, so perhaps one, rainy afternoon this may just be what the doctor ordered! Thank you to the author for making today's #BOTD #free to your readers! Best of luck! :-)
