What kind of music do you like listening to? How about Adele's songs? Are you among Adele's superfans and can you sing along to most of her songs, if not all? My Trip to Adele by R.I. Alyaseer and A.I. Alyaseer is an interesting and enjoyable novel comprising three real-life-related stories linked together by their love for Adele's songs.

In the book, we meet Elias, who returns to Marrakash in search of his lost love and hopes to find her when he remembers that he had said that they would one day meet at Adele's concert. We also meet Nadia, Waleed's mother. Nadia, an independent young woman, has submitted multiple applications for unpaid leave, but both have faced rejection. The leave is significant because she had promised to take her son to Adele's concert as a birthday present. Lastly, we meet Yaser and Mariam, who have been having a rough time in their marriage. Dr. Brown, their marriage counselor, asks them to think of a loving and memorable moment they wish to relive. Yaser suggests taking Mariam to Adele's concert following their engagement memory, where Yaser had proposed to Mariam as Adele's song was playing. Do all these individuals get to go and have fun at Adele's concerts, which they have longed for? Does the concert heal half of their problems, if not all?

What I liked the most about the book was that the author used real-life experiences that the readers could relate to and enjoy. We have all seen or experienced relationships or marriages in difficult moments, such as Yaser and Mariam's. We have also seen or witnessed the drama behind ex-husbands and their ex-wives, including cooperating issues where either of the parties punishes the other for using the child, such as Nadia and her ex-husband. We have all experienced the sensation of our hearts exploding, just like Elias did. These challenges help readers understand that every individual is battling their own and of importance is how they choose to tackle them.

There is nothing in the book that I dislike. I liked that there was a song for every challenge and situation, whether difficult or happy. The songs helped the characters vent their emotions and become vulnerable. The songs were also relatable and fun to sing along to. They will help readers realize that there is no new challenge or problem under the sun and that we all have a situation that will always be disturbing our lives, either financially, spiritually, emotionally, or even physically (healthwise).

The book was professionally edited since I only found one grammatical error throughout the book. For the steady pace that allows readers to understand and grasp even the smallest details about the book. I award the book five out of five stars. I recommend the book to readers who enjoy reading fictional books with real-life elements.
