I cannot believe I’m discovering the existence of Nora Roberts only now. Where have I lived until now?

Nora Roberts has written so many books, it's difficult to choose. She wrote under her own name, and a pen name. Then her earlier books were re-released with new covers. How does one choose?

I have one fave book and one fave series by NR. I just love HONEST ILLUSIONS! The characters are multidimensional and the plot is compelling.
The series I adore is The MacGregors... all the books are fast, fun and filled with interesting people.

Midnight Bayou I think I like the twist on this one the best. Otherwise, I am a junkie when it comes to her trilogies. :D

I really enjoy Sweet Revenge (standalone, I have reread it so many times). The Gallaghers of Ardmore trilogy is really good for wanderlust in Ireland with humor, myth and romance. Another Irish based series that is great is the Irish Born trilogy - lots of family drama, strong personalities, and dreaming. If you want something a little more spooky, but still with bits of steam, friendship, family, and diverse personalities, then the Sign of Seven series is great (also reread many times lol).

My favorite Nora Roberts novel is The Search. Lovable dogs, search and rescue, a murder-mystery and scorching romance, set on a beautiful Pacific Northwest island. Who could ask for more? I only wish Ms. Roberts would do a sequel. I would love to see what happens to some of the supporting characters in the future.
