I'm not into straight up romance or erotica just for the sake of it so it's good to hear there is a book out there with some substance to it. It also sounds like it has done the job well, although you do run the risk of preferring Lara's story over Simone's or vice versa.

Great review! I have to admit, I don't read erotica but this book seems unique since it's also a murder-mystery. The plot does sound interesting with a psychiatrist specializing in sexual behaviour asked to help out with a murder investigation. I can see how some people will enjoy this.
