I like both but romances tend to have more interesting plots. I need a plot for sure. So i guess i go for adorable romances more often.

Like both, but a steamy erotic novel intrest me more. Love the detail and excitment of it all.

Romance definitely but I kinda believe that it comes with a little sex. So I'd go for anything with romance even if it comes with erotica

As I always think, a book is to be enjoyed depending on how or what I am feeling at that time. Therefore, for me both. Sometimes, a great romance needs some normal erotica to ruffle feathers and raise adrenaline. Please, I won't choose between the two.

I definitely like a combination of the two as long as it’s well written. I have found some great erotica books that have wonderful character development, a slow burn with the romance, and lots of exciting plot with twists and turns along the way! But if there’s too much plot and not enough romance, I have a hard time slowing down to read so I don’t rush to the best parts :)

Both. Absolutely, most definitely without a doubt, both. The mix of erotica, plus romance in one book or more is like the making or formation of the best thing on this planet: strawberry cheesecake!

Like a lot have said it depends on my mood. I like both but lean more towards erotica. It also depends on how both are written. I don’t like the sickly sweet romance books or the over the top every page has a scene erotica. I like romance or erotica that takes me on a journey and where I feel the emotions like the main character.

It depends. I like both but if it is erotica, it needs to be well written and not cringey. I also don't really like when the characters fall in love with each other immediately or get together right at the start of a book. I'm a much bigger fan of slow burn romances, but whatever it is, I just need to be able to feel the chemistry between the characters to become immersed in the story.

I think it depends more on my mood for me. I usually read romance novels but my mood depends on whether they're supernatural, dark, comedy, etc. but I do need them to at least contain a slight level of erotic to them.

I like both. For me, it's more important how well drawn the characters are and how good the storyline is. It's also important that the story have some substance and plot elements outside all the steaminess. The couples should also have a decent amount of conversation outside sex and should have enough adorable moments to make me as a reader believe that it's love and not lust driving the Happily Ever After at the end. The last point is precisely my problem with new Bridgerton series. Not a lot of substance which makes me annoyed because I have read the books and they did not come across that way at the time. Okay I've definitely digressed. The point- I like both.

I prefer reading romance novels instead of the erotica.
