This sounds like an interesting read. It's great to know that a book part of the romance category is a fast paced book and not mushy. I'm not a fan of those. Great review!

I do not like the typical romance book; however I do like books with a good storyline and love incorporated into it. I just do not like the typical sappy romance novel. The review you gave makes me want to give this book a try because as you stated it is not your typical romance novel, but a novel of a women finding herself and finding love. Thank you for the review.

Five lessons of love to be referred to as her 5 past relationships is an interesting concept. Just imagine if you had been with a few more than 5 :) How many lessons would that be like?lol

After reading this review, I'm am interested in reading this bookind. The fact that the main character is learning from her past experiences to focus on her future is a concept that I am intrigued by.

Generally a lack of much detail would dissuade me from a book, but to know it could be done well is something I'd love to see. To bring characters truly to life without a lot of elaboration on each is quite an accomplishment. What I love above all in a book is the ability to connect with the characters (whatever that connection may be) and flat characters can ruin a wonderful plot. This sounds like the kind of story that anyone can relate to, overcoming heartbreak and the struggles of life, to finding oneself. I always have a big focus on overcoming obstacles, learning from mistakes, and growing into the person I feel I am inside, so this sounds like just the sort of book that I would enjoy!

Good Review. A story about learning about yourself is always a surprising road. Seeing that it is short and not too detailed, I would assume the lessons play a huge part in the story.

Thank you very much for your review. I also enjoyed the fast pace and the casual, relaxed tone of the book. I think we'very all had our share of love lessons and can relate to Crystal.
