Back to You by Chontelle Brison is the first book in the Hudson Family series. Readers who enjoy romance would like this book. I would highly recommend reading this. There are a few explicit scenes, so please read with caution.

Synclair is having a hard week. Her bar was burned down by a crazy drug dealer. She was almost robbed by a male escort, and now she has received multiple text messages from Rachel, one of her employees, about needing Synclair to save her. Synclair follows Rachel to Carson City, Nevada. There she finds the man she had given her heart to and who broke it fifteen years ago.

Reese is a successful Veterinarian with his own practice. His ex-wife won’t leave him alone, and he has to help his brothers raise their sister. He was in for a surprise when Synclair showed up at his house fifteen years after she disappeared from his life. Now that she is back in his life, he doesn’t want to let her go. Now the struggle is on. Will he convince Synclair to stay with him and his family? Or will she go back to Las Vegas to pick up the pieces of her life before the fire?

I absolutely loved this book. From the very beginning, I couldn’t stop reading. The author did a great job with describing the characters and settings. I felt like I was really in Las Vegas, or in Carson City when the author described them. I really liked how Synclair was such a spit-fire and handles herself very well. Its not very often that you have a character that can take on a fully grown man and walk away from it. Its always nice to see a character that can take care of herself. A lot of things happened that I definitely wasn’t expecting. It was nice that there was always a surprise right around the corner. I was excited to see that this book is the first in a series that will be coming out in the next year.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. The storyline was great and it definitely has me wanting to come back and read the other books in the series. There were a few grammatical errors, but it didn’t take away from the story. The author did a great job with writing this story and I am happy she has begun to write the rest of the series.

Great review! This sounds like a fun beach read or a book to read with a group of girls and laugh/talk about over a glass of wine. Sometimes we all just need some light, fun entertainment!

Great review! I am very picky about my romance novels and this one sounds fantastically satisfying.
