I'm not one to read romance a lot but this seems interesting enough that I might read it. Thank you for this review!

I found it amazon and amazonly motivated and it is really a good thing and a good way for the reader. As an adage goes not all leaders are readers but all readers are good leaders

A romance that isn't all it seems sounds like a great premise. Not sure those erotic scenes would be my cup of tea though.

The One (The Only One) #1 by Belle Ami is a romance and thriller with a suspense aura that keeps your mind on the edge the whole time you read. A 4 out of 4 stars rating.

Don't care much for series, but I love a mystery with well-developed characters, and it never hurts to throw in some romance! Thanks for a fun review!

It is a good review ! It has enticed me to read the book, especially to know what a sinister plan Miles and Caroline had against Adelia.

It sounds really interesting, all the mistery mixed up with their love story can be a very good reading. I definitely want to know more about Amelia's and Miles' challenges.

This book - #1 in the series by Belle Ami - is definitely one for lovers of Jilly Cooper's 'Riders' and Dick Francis' horsey mysteries.
It starts with the deaths, in a mysterious car crash, of Adelia's parents leaving her orphaned and vulnerable, though well-off enough to continue her passion for competitive equestrianism at the highest levels.
After winning one such competition, she encounters her own 'doppelganger', Karolin, in the event's grounds. they connect straightaway and Karolin then introduces Adelia to her twin brother Miles, who soon seduces her, leading to fairly graphic, if slightly comically-phrased, sex scenes, some of which turn violent.
As they are all orphans, [though nouveau-riche rather than 'old' money like Adelia], the threesome becomes ever-more involved in each others lives, though it is not clear what the peculiar bond is between the twins, nor what their aim is in homing in on Adelia.
Thanks to Miles' hard work and wise investments they are rich in their own right - so their motives cannot be financial. Along the way we learn that both family's fathers worked together on developing green energy - could there have been another development taking place in the laboratory? And if so, what would be the result if one or two individuals controlled something that, in the wrong hands, could have devastating consequences for many?
Like the twins, this book is not as straightforward as one might suppose - read it and unravel the truth - if you dare!

A very in-depth review with plenty of teasers to whet the appetite of any potential reader. Not one for me though this time. Sounds like a good tale and the book will appeal to many. :techie-studyinggray:
