I like the idea of 17 yr old Melanie moving from Australia to Colorado. It’s always a good way to start a book when teen love is involved. It’s seems as though the romance between Melanie and Jason is bumpy and a bit reckless and dangerous

Very clear thoughts, I think your review was great and helpful :) I will definitely check this one out, but I'll probably avoid letting my cousin read it for a little while lol.

Thanks for the review. Out of any possible unexpected conclusion or supernatural elements, this book sounds like a typical story of teenage romance, something that is definitely not of my interest. Having read the sample, I agree with the weak work around the characters' dialogues.

I think i will not allow my younger siblings to read the book because matured words are used in the story.

Starts as a typical YA novel which develops quickly to the paranormal. I'm glad the lead female character in the end does become "level headed and guarded young woman."

As an Australian, I find it jarring when Australian characters come off as basically American. Why even bother?

Thanks for your review. You represented the theme of the book very well. The plot reminds me of Twilight series. However the fact that character development was a strong suit of this book was reassuring, because I often feel that this aspect is missed in most teen romance novels. Someone also mentioned a sci-fi bend, I would want to know how that goes. I intend to give this a read. Thanks again.

Melanie's Evanescent Journey.
Author: B. Truly
For Melanie, it was love at first sight for Jason. I couldn't stop reading, wanting to know if Jason would show the same feelings like Melanie. Jason seems matured, not committing but showing interest. There was no exchange of phone numbers. He was behaving mysterious.
From the review, Melanie and Jason had unprotected sex.Hmm. I would like to know how it all ended. How did Melanie's parents reacted to this relationship. What was Jason's secret. So I would like to read the book.

Not a typical romance but a paranormal one. I enjoy reading stories where the characters develop at a normal pace. I agree with you that underage couples need to think about the consequences of having a sexual encounter. Definitely, this is not a book for early teens. They may grasp a wrong concept with it. Thanks for the review!

Great review. Melanie does sound like the stereotypical teenager. I look forward to reading this series to see how she does mature. I like stories that show characters growing and not just staying in the same square. Once again, nice review

I'm not interested in reading this novel due to my lack of interest in the plot and writing style, and the sexual content. Thanks for the informative review :D
