Review of Future Plans
Review of Future Plans by Stacy Lee
Future Plans by Stacy Lee is a story about Emiline Wilson, a young lady in her early 20's, always inspired by the beauty of nature and always trying to replicate every beauty she comes across through painting. The book is her second book in the Nubble Light Series.
Emeline's love for painting wins her the attention of Jason Davis who soon falls in love with her and they start a life together. However, years later, Jason is diagnosed with lung cancer. Will Emiline survive the reality of loosing the love of her life?On the other hand, Hazel, determined to go through the hurdles of being a single mother (all because she was knocked up in senior school year leaving her pregnant without even knowing who was responsible) , and giving her daughter the love and attention she deserved is frustrated when her job doesn't let her do the much she could have done. Her lack of attention puts her daughter; Ellie, at risk as her trusted nanny, Gabrielle, gets involved with the brambrillas, a notorious group known for kidnapping, and gives her daughter away for kidnap. Events take a different turn and mother and daughter are reunited and decide to have time for themselves. A new love story begins when she meets Warren Green, a teacher. He stands her all the way, and they start a new life together.
Stacy Lee's description for natural places was beautiful. She brought in every detail that could make one fall in love with nature.
Future Plans is rated +18 since it's a romance category. Even at that, it's one decent romance category I've read in a long while. From the choice of words Stacy Lee used; not dirty as most romance novels would have it, to the action carried out by the different characters involved; fitted every scene perfectly.
There was no single typographical or spelling error in the book and as such, the book was exceptionally well edited. I'd rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. Although I failed to connect with the different characters while reading. Often times I mistook Emiline for Hazel and Jason for Lucas. I literally had to re-read the book again to understand the characters and how they related, but I undoubtedly enjoyed reading the book. It was worth my while.
Finally, I recommend this book to every lover of life, love, nature and family.
