I love Robyn Carr books also. She builds deep, meaningful relationships between her characters with just the right amount of conflict to keep the book in your hands. I usually get bogged down with the scenery description in books but her words paint a beautiful picture you'd love to step into. I haven't read one of her books that I wouldn't read a second time.

One of my favorite authors is Robyn Carr. Her Virgin River series is excellent! There are about 16 books in the series and I read all of them for the 2nd time a couple of years ago. You feel like you live in the town and fall of the characters are your friends. It's the type of series you can read over and over.

Here newest series, Thunder Point, is excellent as well. I'm always sad when I finish one of her books!

I've read most of Nora Robert's older books. The newer books took a turn I didn't care to put in my mind. I think you would like Birthright. It has good mystery and relationship factors. Northern Lights and Angel's Fall are also good for a mix of romance and mystery. There are movies of the last two but the books are a bit better. If you really like strong males in the story, The MacGregor's series is excellent. Hope the info helps!

Hands down, Emma Chase. I especially love her Royally series, but all of it is great. She does a great job of writing a romance novel that also has a well written plot. The characters always have motivations and feelings outside of just being in love with each other, so they feel like well-rounded people.

Mariana Zapata is my favorite romance author. She became my favorite because of the slow burn romances she writes(she's the queen of slow burn romance). I love the way the she build the characters, the way they get to know each other in her books and the way she writes the development of the story, of the characters romance.

Skye Warren! She knows how to get inside a person's soul, and how to reveal their struggles to the readers. I love her characters - they are all imperfect and vulnerable because of that. Honestly, she is the master of playing with words to evoke emotions in readers.
There are some of her books that I have no interest in reading (not a fan of mafia romances), but most of them are excellent. My new favorite is "The Escort" (the title doesn't do it justice, although it is about the guy, who works as an escort for ladies).
