Any New Adult Recommendations

Post by Sapphire1258 »

Ive been getting into new adult novels, does anyone have any suggestions on what I should read next? I've read and enjoyed Ugly Love and Maybe Someday both by Colleen Hoover, and The Edge of Never By J.A. Redmerski.

Have you tried Jessica Sorensen's books. They are more Young Adult than New Adult but very enjoyable. Unsticky by Sarah Manning has great quirky characters. Alpha by Jasinda Wilder also good. A bit predictable but enjoyable. R K Lilley's books are always good - very steamy. Have you tried This Man series by Jodi Ellen Malpas?

Kresley Cole's books are great! Her characters are funny, witty and absolutely charming. Especially the ones in her Immortals After Dark series. There's also Sherrilyn Kenyon's books and Christine Feehan's. Oh! And also, Jaci Burton.

May I ask what you definition of new adult would be?
Also...are series okay?
And is paranormal acceptable?
Pronouns: She/Her

Yes series are fine, new adult is basically romance books with more steamy stuff involved.. not quite like fifty shades but in between that and romance for young adult.

I'm a huge fan of the book Dearest Clementine by Lex Martin!! By far, the best New Adult book I've ever read. It's a series, but each book has a different male and female lead :).

I just started reading Priscilla West's works, and one that I would recommend by her is Reckless and then Wrecked. They are the first novels in two different series. Reckless had a sequel that just came out as well.

I've been the biggest fan of J. T. Geissinger, and I've devoured all her books. She has the Night Prowler series, six books in all. One of the best random finds I ever got.

I recently read Kristen Middleton's Tangled series.

1: Tangled Beauty
2: Tangled Mess
3: Tangled Fury

Each book follows a different character from the first story. They are not super long, but they are very well written and have quite a bit of "make you blush" stuff.

I really liked H.P Mallory books especially the Jolie Wilkins series. It is funny and romantic plus it has witches, werewolves, vampires, and ghosts what's not to love.

Abbi Glines is a really good New Adult author. Her books are pretty realistic, but do have moments of high drama.

S.C. Stephens is probably my favorite New Adult author. She has a whole series about one couple, and all of her books are really interesting.

Kresley Cole is great! She is definitely a great writer. Her comedic moments in books always make me laugh out loud.

I am reading a book by Robynn Carr called Harvest Moon and it's pretty good. Nora Roberts or Danielle Stella might be good choices as well. There is also Nicholas Sparks as another author. All of these authors are good romance authors. I hope this suggestion helps.
