I'm not into sex with violence, so I appreciate the warning in regard to that. This doesn't sound like a book for me. Thank you for the insightful review!

I'm not sure whether to read this at first, but since it's a dark romance book the type of which I hardly get my hands on, I will give this a try.

I like the tension in this dark romance novel as the wealthy banker, Patrick, pursues the seductive, Alexandra. I hope to read the novel. Nice review.

At first I was thinking, "nope, not reading a story about a man using women". But then I found out it was a love story and changed my mind. I love romance, especially when it starts out with bad intentions and love has it's way to change a person. I know this one is a darker romance, but I want to give it a try anyway. Congratulations on BOTD.

A dark romance with a touch of mystery sounds like an interesting read. However, I don't fancy romance novel that much; I'd pass.

Such a lovely and informative review here. Patrick must have been a master at what he was doing for he seems to have his way. Nice to hear the book is memorable. Thanks for the review.

Alexandra and Patrick's dark romantic adventure kinda reminds me of "Fifty Shades of Grey." I'm not a fan of erotica content of any kind, so I'll take a pass on this one. Great review.

This novel seems like one I can enjoy reading. I like the fact the couple, Patrick and Alexanda, seemed to have undeniable chemistry, and their courtship was a pleasure to experience. I like psychological thrillers, and therefore, I'm looking forward to reading this. Such an excellent review. Thanks for sharing!

Although the premise sounds thrilling, I am not one for erotic contents. I will have to pass this book. Thanks for the awesome review, though.

Erotic scenes don’t bother me if they’re done tastefully and make sense for the plot, but something about this dark romance bugs me, particularly how it sounds like Patrick treats Alexandra at times, at least according to the review. It’s the same reason I’ve avoided similar-sounding novels like Fifty Shades of Grey. I like psychological thrillers, and this book sounds tempting in a guilty pleasure way, but at the same time, the power dynamic in the main characters’ relationship and how it’s treated like a love story doesn’t really sound like my cup of tea. Thank you for the helpful review.

Seductive scenes are not good for me. The story is a bit interesting, it seems that Alexandra and Patrick keep on chasing each other's feelings.

Thanks for the review, it's great to know before going into a book if you are going to find misogyny and abusive situations so that they don't catch you unaware.

Alexandra falling for a man that she actually knew was a womanizer is really pathetic. It is a good storyline and your review is actually amazing.
