Geraldine by Edmond Aristone is an exceptional and very intriguing story. Two people who are exactly opposite in belief are brought together by fate.
Tom who is a medical practitioner doesn't believe in fate or luck.He is exceptionally practical person. He is also very honest.Honest to the point of piercing through people's heart and doesn't care if people get hurt by his truth .
On the other hand ,Geraldine is a very beautiful girl with a beautiful soul. But destiny has other plans for her.Just like her mother who committed suicide due to bipolar disorder. At the age of 22 she is diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
The story covers their first meet and their life after that meet.Tom who is very worried about Geraldine doesn't have the hint about the evils she is fighting with.He doesn't believe in things that can't be proved scientifically.
Story is very exceptional and mysterious too. They have their own fair share is sadness and happiness.Tom falls in love head over heels with Geraldine.
The thing which I loved the most about the story was the lesson it taught.Whatever we do,we cannot fight with whatever that is going to happen. We should try to live in present instead of future or past.Past doesn't define who we are and future doesn't define who we will be.It also teaches us that when our friends are in danger,we should run over them instead of running away from them.
The story over was a roller coaster of emotions. It was a beautiful mixture of fear, pain, frustration, anger and joy.
Overall it was great.
I give it4 out 4
