Lost and Love: Thailand by Stella Knights is the first book in the Lost and Love series. It is a very smooth read with some beautifully developed characters.

Savannah feels that something is missing in her life and that her sex life with her husband is getting monotonous. She decides to take a break from life and go on a trip to Thailand and try and heal her marriage. Her friend, Pam, convinces her to buy a few sexy lingerie and adult toys to spice up their sex life during the vacation. During the vacation, her husband, Jhonny, is surprised at first on seeing his wife wearing those lingeries. Eventually, he says to her that such things don't turn him on. When she asks him what he wants to try to spice things up, he suggests something that takes both, Savannah and the reader by surprise.

Even though she is surprised initially, eventually she agrees to his suggestion as she wholeheartedly wants to heal her marriage.

What does he suggest? Will his suggestion really restore the lost connection in their marriage? Or will their marriage take another turn?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters are very well created and are relatable. She is doing a job for which, she is overqualified. She is unhappy due to it. She feels that her husband is also doing a job that isn't meant for him. Jhonny is keen on paying off the mortgage before they can have some fun. This is a common picture in many marriages due to which, you can easily imagine yourself in their place. We see Savannah complaining several times that Jhonny doesn't prioritise her and that seems to be the case. Throughout the story, we see how his mother asks for his attention and continues doing so even during their vacation. Jhonny seems to be spending too much time on his phone. These things made me get annoyed at him and I felt like he was least interested in paying attention to Savannah. I felt bad for her and I totally lost my mind for what he did after the vacation. These aspects of their characters complemented the main plot. I believe that it's too hard to hate or love any character unless it's very well written. And, by the end of the story, I hated Jhonny to no ends.

The scene when Jhonny and Savannah meet Nin and Laila is hilarious. It is totally unexpected and it left me laughing hard. That scene showed how possessive Savannah was about her husband and that her husband didn't seem to care. I can't discuss more about this scene because I don't want to spoil it for you. Trust me it'll leave you rolling on the floor. This is undoubtedly my favourite part of this book.

The main plot was really well written and the narration was also very smooth. This story was flawless and I couldn't find anything that I could dislike in it. I'll rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

The ending of the book is a pure cliffhanger. It'll be unfair if I didn't mention how great Pam's character was. She seemed to be a very nice person and an even better friend. She was always there for Savannah. Everyone should have a friend like her.

I'll suggest this book to people who love reading romantic stories. People who love travelling can also read this book as the author has provided a detailed description of the locations and also provided a guide for travelling to Thailand at the end of this book. Due to the erotic content, I'll suggest children to avoid reading this book.

I had a great time reading this book and I can't wait to read the second book in this series.
