Fifty Shades was a whole new level for me. My first erotica which really blew me away with the loads of sexual content in it.
I read the book before the movie, all threw of them and I can tell you that asides the steamy sex and dominance vs submissive, it was really about a battle of freedom and love.

The Trilogy certainly has that steamy,erotic ,keep you on your toes aura around it ,if that's what ur looking for. As some may finds it cringy, it was actually a eye opener to a new perspective of sexual exploration for me . If u're curious about what dark romance is, this book is a good one to start with.
