Steve Jobs?

Post by Scott »

Has Steve Jobs written any books? If so, what are the titles?

I had someone ask me, but I don't know of any books written by him.

Thanks,
Scott

Apple was founded by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. Steve Wozniak has definitely written at least one book, called Computer Geek to Cult Icon: How I Invented the Personal Computer, Co-Founded Apple, and Had Fun Doing It.

In a way, he wrote the iBook :)
I don't think that Steve Jobs has written a book, but I hope I'm wrong...

As far as I am aware, he has not written any books. He has been described as not much of a writer. I guess he preferred a different medium to share his messages. His quotations are remarkable, and there is a speech of his from a graduation address at Stanford in 2005. It is worth reading. He shares things from his young life, then about love and loss, finally about death.

If he had written any books, I would love to read them though.

The apple dude? We've got loads of books on finance at the charity shop. They won't sell.

As far as I know, Jobs didn't write anything but there are a number of attempts to collect his quotes. I like the format of The Business Wisdom of Steve Jobs: 250 Quotes by Alan Ken Thomas. It organizes the quotes into chapters dealing with different topics like business, legacy, innovation, etc. The quotes are dated and contextualized.
