I love so many different authors. Roxane Gay is one of my most recently discovered favorites. Her works are very feminist in nature. I recently read her anthology of short stories entitled Difficult Women. It was seriously amazing.

My favorite authors have to be in two different genres, first, Stephen King, and Jaqueline Carey. I like them both for their ability to bring the reader directly into the atmosphere of the storyline and make the story become real. I also like how they both develope both the plot and the characters.

My favorite author is Taylor Caldwell. I love how she tells a whole story rather than fluffy pieces. Though I have never read her first work, I enjoy every other story I have read. Two of her works were turned into movies. My favorite book she wrote is "Ceremony of the Innocent".

When it comes to fictional novels, I have to say Dean Koontz hands down! I've read so many of his books and have never been disappointed! It's hard to believe one could write so many books and not have any duds lol! As far as non-fiction, I've discovered Derrick Jensen and after having read only 2 of his, it is a goal to read them all!

Lora Leigh is my favorite author. I can't get enough of her novels! I identify with her characters on a deep cellular level. Breeds, Elite Ops, Callahans, Bound Hearts, Men of Summer, Navy Seals....I will read anything and everything she writes. The characters and stories touch my heart and soul. They draw me in and leave me begging for more!

Definitely Francine Rivers. Her vast writing abilities also intrigue me. She brings stories from as far back as B.C and makes me relate so much to them.
