I like so many authors it's hard to just pick one. Lets see, there's Tamora Pierce, Sarah Strohmeyer,
C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rowling, Erin Morgenstern, Jonathan Stroud, Rick Riordan, Chris D'Lacey, Ellen Oh, Patricia C. Wrede, Marie Brennan, Susan Dennard, Kristen Britain, Ralf Helfer, Sherry Tomas. There are so many more that I could list and all of them are on my bookshelves.

I have many favorite authors but Martha Cecilia is the best for me. She wrote eloquent Tagalog romance pocket books. My all-time favorite genre. ??

I have to admit, JK rowling would be my favorite author. So far nothing compares to Harry Potter. I also loved her other books. Close second I would have to say is currently, Sarah J Maas. Her throne of glass series is the only series ive read that has held a flame to HP! so good!

My favourite author is J.K Rowling. I love her imagination. I admired her perseverance when she did not give up despite the trials that she has gone through.

I love Rowling's imagination and her writing style. Of all the stories I've read, hers is the one that lingers.

I like Roald Dahl as well, particularly because of Matilda.

Choosing just one favorite author is like choosing favorites between your children! Here are my top 3:

Kay Hooper. She just draws me in.
Dean Koontz. The first time I read one of his books, I expected to hate it. I was never into the "horror/sci-fi" genre, but he kept me involved the whole book.
V.C. Andrews. A great writer, although some very touchy subject matter.
