Marion Zimmer Bradley, Dan Brown and Stephen King. But there are so many more wonderful authors that each add so much to our world with their books

I really like Melissa Marr though I haven't read any of her recent works. I really enjoyed the Wicked Lovely series when I was younger.

Faulkner is somewhere around 1-3 on my all-time list, post-1800 C.E. I hated the plots of all his major novels but his characters and his poetic rhythm and slicing adjectives were just perfect. And artful. He’s great to listen to, as well.

My #1, post-Shakespeare, is the Confessional Poets. #2 Dickens. #3 Kierkegaard.

Modern author, I'd say Stephen King. He's talented beyond words, and so prolific!
