I feel like this has changed a lot, I enjoy a lot of series. I always love when a book is in a series because you can really become invested in the characters. However, my current favorite series is the Dublin Murder Squad series by Tana French. The interesting thing about this series is that each book is written from the perspective of a different perspective and we rarely encounter previous main characters as the series continues. I love this aspect of French's writing because it allows her novels to continue to be fluid and avoid becoming stagnant!

I have to say that I really like the Percy Jackson series. No other series really seems to capture my heart with all the books in the series.

This is probably not the most original answer, but after several years of reading hardly anything, the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child got me addicted to books again! :)

I have to admit that the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer is my favorite series. I fell in love with the Harry Potter books, but that phase ended for me. The Twilight series was romantic, logical, vivid, and something I got close and personal with. The characters were well-known and the setting was easy to imagine. The writing overall was written passionately. It was all just perfect.

Fortunately, I read the books before seeing the movies, which is an awesome rule I enforced on myself at a young age. I did not want to figure out the ending to events and get bored reading the books. Since the Twilight books are original 'works of art', I admire the books more than I admire the movies.

My favorite series will always be the black dagger brotherhood series by J. R. Ward. I have every one out so far and even have signed copies of all her books.

By far!!!! The Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum books are the most entertaining books on the market to me! She combines romance, humor and mystery to engage the reader and often has me asking "how does she come up with this stuff".
