Other than the obvious Harry Potter, in YA, I like the Inheritance Series and the Chaos Walking Series best.
Also, there's this series Dragon Kin by G.A.Aiken that is amazing. I've read it a few times already, that's how great I felt the writing was!

I really enjoyed the Kenzie & Gennaro series by Dennis Lehane. This thrilling detective series is probably one of the best. It is masterfully written and the plot, storyline, and characters are relatable and believable. I read each and every book voraciously and also turned my family and friends into huge Dennis Lehane fans by passing the books along. A must read series of books. :D

Dennis Lehane is also one of my favorite authors. I finished A Drink Before the War, Sacred, Prayers for Rain, and Gone, Baby, Gone. I have yet to read the two other Kenzie & Gennaro books, though. His Shutter Island and Mystic River (not part of the K&G series) are also great.

I am so glad to find another DL fan here!

My favourites are Twilight, Harry Potter and the Hunger Games series. I have reread all of these lots of times, and still continue to be interested by them.

I haven't read many series because they demand time and patience and when they dont turn out good it exhausts me. However, Harry Potter, LOTR and GoT series are my favourites.

I have many favorite series'. but Sue Grafton's Alphabet series is one of the tops; she was a great author. I say was because for anyone that isn't aware, she passed away last night :( apparently she was battling cancer. (I follow her on Facebook and her daughter made a post). I'm so very sad; the alphabet series ends at "Y" now. there will be no "Z".
RIP Sue.

I have read many, but I always come right back to Harry Potter. It was just a very important part of my teens years that I cannot not choose it.
