I think I heard Janet Evonovich (sp?) books are kind of funny, but haven't read any yet.

Also, in the humorous category, The Miss Julia series by Ann Ross, and Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown's Mrs. Murphy series.

I have read loved this book as well.Craigable wrote:One of the most charming books I've ever read is Christopher Morley's The Haunted Bookshop (1919).
I liked the books of Alan Bradley, Lilian Jackson Braun and Rita Mae Brown and recommend them as well.
