Scott wrote: 19 Aug 2007, 12:08 Are there any authors whose books you have read, all of them I mean? If so, which author(s)?

I'm trying to think of any, but I do not think that I have read all the books by any given author.
Oh yes. I used to work in a library, and at that time I read All of Agatha Christie's novels.
I've read all the JD Robb In Death series so far, and I love the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum Series.
I have also read all of Madeleine L'Engle, CS Lewis, and JRR Tolkien.

When I find an author I like I tend to look for anything I can of their work.

I don't think there's an author besides J.K. Rowling whose entire collection of published works I've read though it may be worth mentioning that I've read my fair share of series over the years.

I haven’t read all of these books but I might own every book by Danielle Steele. I inherited all of my grandmas books so I have a huge collection of them!

I have not read all the books of an author that has written multiple books either, as I prefer to read books from many authors.

Not sure if many know her, but Chimamanda Adichie is a Nigerian author who started writing not too many years ago. I have read everything and am waiting for her to write something else! Americanah was her most recent book, I believe. Recently read "Purple Hibiscus".
But that's recent. As a girl I read everything Enid Blyton wrote.

JK Rowling, and I'm not sad about it. She's amazingly talented & there arent many that are as captivating.

I have read all the works by Dan Brown, John Green, Khaled Hosseini and Sidney Sheldon. All these authors have inspired and left me in awe long after completing them. I recommend everyone try atleast some of their books.

I have not yet read all books of a particular author. Its hard to find some books. I've always loved Percy Jackson though, I want to have a collection of all his books in my house.

Rick Riordan. I love his approach to things and how he can weave things together without making it seem to be repeated.

My favorite author, Olaf Stapledon. The biggest two I have left to read are Odd John and Sirius. Others include Last Men in London and various anthologies.

I've probably held off reading those since they are very different from the four I've already read from him: Last and First Men, Star Maker (my favorite book of all time too), Death into Life & Darkness and the Light. All of them have a common writing style and theme that enraptured me.

There was also a great short story of his called East is West (or was it the other way around?) that is exactly about what the title implies, but with Stapledon's unique twist.

Another one might be G.K. Chesterton. The Club of Queer Trades was a ton of fun to get through. The Man Who Knew Too Much was similar but not quite my cup of tea. Nevertheless, I feel like I want to see further into Chesterton's bibliography.
