Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorites. I have never read a bad book by her.

I read all of Stephen King's works and none of them made me regret reading it. ;)

Debbie Macomber never fails to draw me in. I've loved ever book of hers I've read and I've read quite a few of them. I especially love getting into a series like Cedar Cove. The only problem is the depression when you've read the book!

Irwin Shaw and currently Harlan Coben. Can't remember ever being disappointed with any books from these two great authors. Rich Man Poor Man is still one of my all-time favourite novels and Harlan is just a great storyteller.

JR Ward always hits it out of the park for me. From romance, to sci-fi, to regular old novels, she has never let me down.

Jan Karon always makes me laugh and cry in the same book. Her characters are always consistent and wonderful.

I am new to this forum but interesting topic. I have to say Daniee Steel. I loved her as a teen 20 years ago but now I find her books lack characters.

Kay Hooper. While there are some of her books that I like more than others, I have never found a book written by her that I dislike.

Jonah Pacala is a local author who makes my world spin round and round. From the way she state the situation, the feels and emotions, the characters themselves, and all of the other stuffs? Awww... she's such a good author! I love all of her works. I even want to write my own set of characters because of her..

I'm sure there are others, but off the top of my head and reading list is Molly Harper. Seriously, I rarely laugh out loud at even some of the most comic literature, but Harper has a gift. She's awesome. I reserve the right to add to this list as my mind wanders through my bookshelves.

Rick Riordan comes to mind. I'm a big fan of young adult literature and he never fails to make me truly empathise with his characters in all his work
