What author has never let you down?

I haven't read all of her space opera yet, but I have liked everything of Lois McMaster Bujold's that I have read. I love the world(s) she has created, I love how accessible or balanced in plot vs. world building her work is, and how fully developed her characters are. I love that her hero is congenitally disabled and the emotional and physical reality of that is written in a way that rings true.

Midsummer and Macbeth! Really like Shakespeare's works, though it takes too much of my time when im really into it.

Midsummer and Macbeth! Really like Shakespeare's works, though it takes too much of my time when im really into it.

Yeah it can definitely take a while to read one of his shows! But it is so worth it

The author that has never let me down is Dean R. Koontz. His books are always page turners, and always intriguing

Stephen King is definitely my go to author. A lot of people peg him as a horror/thriller author which he most definitely excels at, but he can also write thoughtful and heart-wrenching stories as well. His stories always included well rounded and fully developed characters and he always adds detail to his stories that most authors don't. Even though his books have taken me months to read, I have never been disappointed.

An author that comes to mind is Stephen King.

I have only read a few of his books. I am aware that he wrote many, but I always hear good things about him. He writes consistently and stays on top of his game when it comes to publishing new books. He is so committed to writing that he pleases everyone's' expectations by not letting any of his readers down. If I were to read a long list of books he has written, then I would know he wrote with a passion in each and every book he published. Other authors that come to mind are J. K. Rowling and James Patterson.

I am a fan of Stephen King as well. His work never disappoints. I have heard a lot of good things about James Patterson as well but I have yet to read anything by him. Any recommendations?
