i have a few danielle steele books and they mostly have the same theme, and i mean they all have some tragedy but a happy ending.
theyre feel good books, but "secrets" "a night in paris" is good as well
as a matter of fact, start with that one.
enjoy!

I think you can take any as they are similar and they have the same plot every one.

I read one of her's ages ago, I think it was called Special Delivery. I can't remember hardly anything about it, although I don't think it was one of her best.

I loved her as a teenager, but moved on when I grew up. Her writing and characters are simplistic, and when I tried to re-read Star, that book drove me crazy with her constant repetition of how beautiful Crystal Wyatt is.

If you are seeking a quick easy read, then start with her recent books but if you want something more intricate and deeply satisfying start with her earlier books. It seems like her recent books are quickly put together and trying to make a fast happy ending. I don't like her style.

I don't do bodice rippers but some of the non-fiction books she did were quite good. Two are from way back, "Having a Baby" and "After Having a Baby". I'm sure much of it is dated now. But it was Danielle and a group of friends comparing birth stories and the first year of parenthood.

Another book was "His Bright Light". Nick, the focus of this book was mentioned in her earlier books as a child. This book is her account of a mother trying to reach a troubled son before his death at nineteen.
