The first book I ever remember reading was Matilda. I love that book. It's still one of my favorites to this day.

I loved Roald Dahl as a kid! I think my favorite was Matilda, but the BFG was a close second. He also has some autobiographies that I hope to read soon.

I grew up reading Roald Dahl!!! Looking back they seem a bit full on for kids like revolting rhymes and the twits, but I loved them all so much!!

The BFG was my favorite so am a little wary of the movie, will have to wait and see

I read his one autobiography when I was a kid. I don't remember much except that I thought I shouldn't like it as much as I did

I've heard the movie isn't quite like the book (shocking I know) so I'm a little worried too. But hopefully it is good enough to be enjoyable.

I loved Roald Dahl growing up! BFG and Matilda were two of my favorites, but I also liked The Witches. Makes me want to read those books again. Now where did I put them...?

Matilda has always been my favorite and the movie adaption was good. But I like the witches if you like his weirder, darker books.

My favorite of his has always been Matilda. We read it in our reading groups when I was in third grade and have loved it ever since. When I was little I was convinced that I could be like Matilda. Sadly, I couldn't.

The Witches is my hands down favorite. I don't know how many times I have read it. Ronald Dahl's discription of the witches as they remove their wigs and shoes at the convention is perfect!

My third grade teacher read the book "James and the Giant Peach" to the class and I have read the book at least six times since. I have since then read all of Roald Dahl's children's books. Right now I am rereading the book "The BFG" so I can refresh my memory as to what the story is so I can compare the book to the Stephen King directed movie "The BFG" when it comes out to theaters on Friday, July 1, 2016. I will watch movie at the theater on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 so I can pay a cheaper price with a gift card I got for my birthday. The next children's book of Roald Dahl's I will read is "Danny, the Champion of the World."

Why has not anyone mentioned any of Roald Dahl adult books? I have never read any of his adult books and as of last Saturday, went to my local public library and checked out the book "Kiss Kiss." "Kiss Kiss" is a book of eleven short stories. I am currently in the middle of reading the second story which I am enjoying. When I get done reading "Kiss Kiss," I will probably read the book "Over to You: Ten Stories of Flyers and Flying," which is also a book of ten short stories, another adult book. I cannot wait.
