I actually no longer read Stephen King books unless I go back to re-read something from long ago. One exception is the books he writes with Peter Straub. They do tend to drag a bit, but the stories are so good that I have to read them anyway!

Strangers was my first Koontz book and I still love that book. I also really like Fear Nothing and Seize the Night (come on Dean, write the third).
