Most Physically Attractive Author?

Post by Terri2 »

Obviously, we don't like authors for their bodies. Still, who do you think is (or was) the most attractive author? Most attractive male author? Most attractive female author?

Oh, well, I don't know who's most attractive, but when I met Jonathan Lethem, I noticed he had great hair.

Anyone with great hair is attractive to me, and great hair means thick.

Andrew O'Hagan (Our Fathers) is pretty attractive in person, too. And Salvadore Plascencia (The People of Paper). Their books are fantastic.

I'll let the boys chime in about the women writers.

William McInnes without a doubt. The fact that he's also a fabulous Australian actor is probably pushing him to the front of the pack, but he's absolutely gorgeous.

Here he is...

And a gratuitous shot of him without his shirt...

It's a hard question to answer because we usually do not see authors. I do not know what most of the authors look like even though I read their books.

I used to read his books a lot but lately they kind of gone downhill. However, I would have to say that Nicholas Sparks is probably the most attractive author for me. Than again, I do not have a favorite male author either that is more attractive than that.

I always used to love that picture of Ruth Rendell they incorporated into the front cover of her paperback editions. Not that it matters, but I'm female and straight - it just seemed such a fascinating face, though!

I honestly have never even looked at author's photos, although I do think Steven King is fairly attractive.
