Right now, I could go for a cocktail with Michele Jaffe! I love her ya books, but her adult books give me nightmares. Regardless, she seems like a really cool chick.

I have come to learn from many authors and I love them.
But the one I would love to have lunch with is Jody B. Miller. I love his books because he provides inspirational for life challenges.

Oscar Wilde, without a doubt.
He would make it a party! He would teach me some lessons, and we would have so much flipping fun! Plus, great fashion advice from a century old gay. ;)

Definitely Stephen King or Dan Brown. I'd love to talk conspiracy theories with Dan Brown. And, Stephen King because he's Stephen King. ?

He would be a very interesting character to spend some time with.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

George R.R. Martin. There is so much that I would love to discuss with him concerning A Song of Ice and Fire, and I would really like to get into his mind and talk about further ideas for spin offs related to Game of Thrones.

I don't drink bear, but if I should drink Fanta, I will like to drink it with William Combs, the author of, "Who told you that you are naked".

Dan Brown is the first name that popped in my mind. Because I am a History student and knowing about such things has always interested me. With Dan Brown, I could discuss all the secret societies and the hidden meanings behind things. It'd be pretty awesome.

Stephen King. I love his novels. They are disturbing, scary and traumatizing (still scared of clowns after reading It). But I still just have to read them all. I would love to hear how he comes up with his ideas and characters.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

Mitch Album. Weaving faith into mystery at least to me is an under appreciated skill.

I don't drink beer. However, I would enjoy having a lunch with Ted Dekker. I first found Dekker when I was in the 10th grade. That was 10 years ago. I found a book called Obsessed. It was about the Holocaust, well not all the way. the Holocaust had a great deal to do with the story. It was so intriguing that I got in trouble in most of my classes for reading instead of listening to them teach. I then went on to read some of his other works like Red and Black. If you haven't read a Ted Dekker book, I would greatly recommend you look him up.

That would be a great choice. I found that book very inspirational. That's saying a lot cause I do not usually read this type of book. I'm more of an adventure, historical fiction, rom-com type of girl.

It's a tie...Edgar Allen Poe, would love to sit over a beer and hear him lament his inner demons. Maybe coax a recitation of "Annabelle Lee."

Shakespeare...so many questions about who he was as a man. Could be a fascinating conversation over a pint of ale!
