I'm with you there on P.G. Wodehouse! He is a fantastic writer and his turn of phrase is absolutely brilliant. Most of the time they are sayings I never would've understood outside of his wonderful contexts and odd situations.

I would love to take a class where Markus Zusak was the teacher! The way he writes is just so beautiful to me I’d love to see what he has to teach!

Last year there were two writers who impressed me a lot: Kristin Hannah and Marie Lu. They both transmitted a lot of tenderness and strength in their stories. I would love to have them as writing teachers.

JK Rowling! I want to know how she planned out the Harry potter series and she's the master of foreshadowing!

I wish I could learn from Margaret Atwood.
I have been to grad school and learned from amazing published authors but Margaret Atwood I would say would be the best opportunity to learn.

Stephen King. But I'd probably prefer to just spend the time chatting rather than focusing on the writing lesson.

Beatrix Potter, for her skill in making a simple story so delightfully entertaining. William Horwood, for advice on how describe scenes and to pull the reader in with every one of their senses. JRR Tolkien, for the ability to tell an epic tale that spans generations and lands without losing momentum.
