Stephen King or Ian McEwan. Stephen King gives great writing advice and it would be interesting to see how Ian McEwan would approach teaching a writing class.

Oh man, I love a lot of contemporary fiction and poetry, so these could actually happen, but they never will. George Saunders would be top of the list. He was one of the first authors I fell in love with. Zachary Schomburg for poetry would be amazing. That guy does a lot of really, really cool stuff with language. Donna Tart would be great for fiction, or Margaret Atwood. There are so many options!

John Green! He's the kind of author who understands the mechanics of story telling in a way he could convey to his students, and he has experience with teaching

Oh, I would love to take a class from Edgar Allen Poe. His writing fascinates me and I would love to know how he crafts such stories that fit together with so much symbolism. Amazing.

I want Rob White to teach me how to write a book. As I said a while ago i like his writing style. I want also Gerry Robert. He's the best! He had written a lot of books. And make a lot of Money too. Of course one of my favorite Robert Kiyosaki. He can even teach a simple person. As long as has ambition in life.

It would be with either JK Rowling, or Catherine Coulter. I love the way they both write, and it would be an honour to just be in their presence.

Charles Dickens or Tolkien. Or maybe Roald Dahl. Can't decide. Their styles are very different, but I don't doubt it that each of the three could pass on unimaginable knowledge.

I would really enjoy taking a writing class taught by Stephen King. He has made it quite apparent in his work that too many writing teachers are stuck on "right" and "wrong" ways of writing. I really like Stephen King's advice of "If you want to write, just write. Don't worry about what other people do or what they care." I feel like he would really see his students for their personalities and their emotions, rather than just their abilities.

I want to be taught by someone who cares about passion for literature, not by someone who divides their students' work into "right" and "wrong".

Fully agree with you on Saunders, Tartt and Atwood - based on that I'll have to look up Schomburg and see what he's all about!

I would choose Stephen King. I love how he uses language and imagery in his books. He is an incredible storyteller. I would love to listen to how he transforms his ideas into visions and moves them to the written page.
