Hm, it was a long time ago... I did not read much fiction at the time, as I was very much into reading history books. Well, I still am, but I am glad that I can make time for fiction too :) In elementary school my favourite author was Lucy Daniels.

My favourite author back in high school was definately John Kìrìamìtì. He has written a series of books based on his past life as a criminal. His books are full of humour and there is plan to make a movie out of them.

Joe Orton - wildly funny and constant attacks on societal hypocrisies.

Charles Bukowski - was mind-bending, the stuff he got away writing about

Robert Priest - his work made me finally 'get' poetry

When I was in high school I read a lot of Janet Evanovich books. I loved her Stephanie Plum series. Eventually that got old and I quit reading the series.

I was totally obsessed with VC Andrews and all of her series in high school. I also loved Christopher Pike’s horror stories, but moved quickly to Stephen King. I was a dark, twisty kid

I loved reading Charles dickens and Shakespeare, but my favorite author was JK Rowling. I was a die hard fan of Harry Potter and actually had a dream one night that voldemort was chasing me around my grandmother's house!! :lol2:
